Sports and Interhouse

​​Throughout the year, our PE Lead and other staff will be arranging for the children at Wellsprings to participate in a range of sports, festivals and interhouse competitions.  They will get the chance to do multi-skills, net and wall, striking and fielding, and swimming, as well as take part in tournaments – football, netball, gymnastics and rounders.

Other sports opportunities we have offered have included football club, tag rugby club, netball club, rounders club, gymnastics clubs for boys and girls, badminton club, Change 4 Life club, school games days for Key Stages 1 and 2 and the Foundation Stage.  Children have represented the school in quadkids athletics, rounders, netball and football tournaments (and friendlies).

Staff provide a range of sports clubs for the children throughout the year:

  • Gymnastics

  • Rounders

  • Cricket

  • Rugby

The children have the opportunity to represent the school at tournaments where they play other primary schools from the Taunton area.
